Ten Mile Pond, Gros Morne National Park, New Foundland
Set in the most spectacular portion of the Long Range Mountains, this 1.943-square-kilometre park is named for Newfoundland's second highest peak, Gros Morne (806 metres), which dominates the Bonne Bay area. To the left, behind the fjord with tundralike vegetation, on the horizont - Atlantic Ocean. The geological similiarity to norwegian fjords is not accidentally - millions of years ago, Norway and Newfoundland were one piece of land.
