One of the prominent features of the New Zealand bush are more than 80 species of ferns, growing to 20 m, with its fronds extending to 7 m. Since there is a lot of rainfall in subtropical climate of North Island, the ferns and the waterfall look so beautiful (picture taken at the end of January, in hot, sunny weather)!
