Totaranui Beach, Abel Tasman National Park,
New Zealand, South Island
max. size 120 x 320 cm
Totaranui Beach is a part of Abel Tasman National Park. It is about 2 km long, truly golden strip of coarse-grained sand. When wet after the low tide, looks like "russian gold" (with a bit of copper). Also the rocky sections of the park's coastline are fascinating places for patient exploration - they are home to many fish, shellfish, snails, worms and crabs.
